Guidelines for leaving reviews on GoDaddy Pro Connect

After a client and a freelancer work together to complete a project through GoDaddy Pro Connect, both parties have an opportunity to review each other's work. (We'll send you an email with a link to leave the review.)

Things we'd recommend considering when leaving reviews are:

  • Frequency and thoroughness of communication
  • Working to agreed-upon terms

Clients will also have a chance to leave feedback about:

  • How satisfied they are with the freelancer's work
  • How likely they are to work with the freelancer again

Issues with reviews

Once reviews have been left, both parties can reply to the review.

If there are disputes about the reviews, our team investigates them on a case-by-case basis. However, we have some basic guidelines:

Issue Example Action
Derogatory comments A review is left that contains the use of derogatory, racist, or other offensive words that go against GoDaddy values. Review will be removed or edited to remove offensive material.
Factual inaccuracies When a reviewer has left a review which contains factual incorrect information about what took place on the project. Review will be removed.
Reviewer requests to remove a review Where a reviewer has posted a review but indicated that the review contains a mistake in the wording or the rating and would like to update it. Review will be removed or updated.
Both parties agree to remove review. A reviewer leaves negative feedback. Both parties discuss the review and come to an agreement to remove the review and write to us to confirm. As the review was legitimate and left after approval, the review will not be removed.
Factually correct negative review is left. A factually correct negative review is left based on the buyers experience. Review will not be removed.
